What this website collects

This site runs no tracking or advertising scripts. Cloudflare, our host, keeps standard server logs and aggregate visit counts. Nothing in these identifies you.

When you order

When you buy on sunniedesigns.com, we collect your name, email address, delivery address and what you bought, to fulfil your order and send you order updates.

If you start a checkout but don't complete payment, the details you entered are stored with the unpaid order record. We delete unpaid order records after 90 days.

Our lawful basis

We process your order data because it's necessary to perform the contract between us: taking your order, charging you and delivering your pieces. We keep order records afterwards to meet our legal obligations, including Irish tax record-keeping rules, which require us to keep them for 6 years.

Who processes your data

PayPal processes your payment details as an independent controller, under its own privacy statement, not on our instructions. Resend, which sends our order emails, and Cloudflare, which hosts the site and stores the order database, act as processors on our behalf.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process your data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, they do so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep order records

We keep order records for 6 years, to meet Irish tax rules.

Cookies

We use two strictly necessary cookies: one to remember what's in your bag, and one to show your order confirmation. We set no tracking or advertising cookies.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and we delete them when we no longer need them.

Orders on Etsy

Purchases placed on our Etsy shop are handled by Etsy, under Etsy's privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete data we hold about you. Email us and we'll respond within a month. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
