Made by Hui, stitch by stitch. Every piece is a little different, because each one is made by hand. Yours will be the only one exactly like it. Meet Hui

Four little sunflowers to slide under your mugs, each one a full flower shape with its own stem and leaves instead of a plain circle.

Hui crochets a spiral brown centre first, then rings it with puffy yellow and orange petals in a scalloped edge, and finishes each one with a short green stem and two leaves. Flat enough to sit properly under a cup, they look like a small flower even when nobody is using them.

  • Full sunflower shape: brown spiral centre, scalloped edge, stem and leaves included, not just a plain circle.
  • Set of 4: enough for a full table setting.
  • 14 cm flower, 7 cm stem: about 21 cm end to end.
  • About 0.5 cm thick: lies flat and stable under a mug or glass.
  • 20 g each: the whole set weighs about 80 g.

A cheerful housewarming or birthday gift for anyone who likes sunflowers or a cottagecore kitchen, and a set that looks good fanned out on the table even when it’s not in use.

Flower Ø 14 cm, stem 7 cm, about 21 cm end to end, 0.5 cm thick. Hand crocheted, so allow 1 to 2 cm either way.
